I'm 14 and I have parents that are totally lame. Whenever I invite friends over my parents like to talk to them about school or stuff like that. My friends get annoyed by my parents. My parents never let me do anything fun because they say that it's too dangerous. Like last week my friends and I were doing flips on the trampoline and my parents came out and told us that if we were doing flips only one of us was allowed on the trampoline at a time. My friends say that they don't want to hang out at my house anymore because of my parents. How can I get my parents to be chill and relax like my friend's parents do?

Hello! I suggest that instead of wanting to change your parents, perhaps you should talk to your friends. First of all, you should NOT think your parents are lame. They feed you, clothe you, shelter you, and love you. Besides, your parents care about you so much that they take the time to supervise you. I have to agree with your parents. Whenever doing flips on a trampoline, it is recommended that only one person stays on the trampoline. Have you ever watched all those fail videos on Youtube? Well, a lot of them involve two people on a trampoline, with one doing flips. Basically, the person doing flips will whack the other person on various parts of their body. Secondly, you should stand up for your family. Blood is thicker than water. If you friends do not want to go to your house because of your parents, question your friends.
