I want to buy a water trampoline and was wondering the difference between a water trampoline and a water bouncer. I am a competitive gymnast and need a lot of bounce. My budget is tight. I do not want to spend over $400 dollars. Can you tell me which one is cheaper. Thanks for your help! it would be very helpful if you include links.

Answer
I swear I answered like 10 of these exact questions. A few by you. I don't get it. Why are you posting the same question over and over again? Anyway...

Q: What is the difference between a water trampoline and a water bouncer?

A: A water trampoline and a water bouncer have a few distinct differences. Water bouncers tend to be smaller, less expensive and also do not produce as high of jumps. This is because water bouncers have netting that is attached directly to the inflation tube whereas water trampolineâs netting is attached by springs to a frame which allows for higher bouncing and can support heavier weight loads.

Water trampolines and bounce platforms look very similar and indeed are similar. Both water trampolines and bounce platforms are have a bounce surface and both can be used for hours of fun. Attachments are offered for both water trampolines and bounce platforms. Attachments can include slides, logs and ladders. Water trampolines have a bounce surface supported by a steel frame and trampoline springs, bounce platforms have jump surface supported by a spring-less interlocking webbing connected from the floatation tube to the jump surface. Water trampolines can hold more weight and will have a higher jump compared to a bounce platform.

Bounce platforms are a great family recreational product and costs less then a water trampoline. It will support a good amount of weight and will provide a short bounce. Generally a bouncer will not require any assembly other then inflating and anchoring. A water trampoline requires assembling the framed jump surface. This will take about 30 minutes additional set-up time. Because of these differences water trampolines are generally higher priced then bounce platforms.

How do you stop Seagulls from landing on water trampolines?

Got a very large water trampoline and its constantly covered with seagulls, which of course shit all over it. Tried the fake owl thing, but they are smarter then they look. What can I do?

Answer
Good luck, but the good news is that if you can find a way that works you'll be rich. Most major airports have the same problem at the end of their runways. The gulls all land and take off when they get scared by planes landing or taking off. When they flock like that they get sucked into the engines of the planes and the engines die. They found an answer by bringing falconers down with their birds to chase the gulls. This works, and they record the sound of the falcons and play it back just before take off and landing. Well it works, but only for awhile. After awhile those smart gulls learn that there really isn't a falcon, and stop flying away in fright. That's when they have to bring the real falconers back to retrain the gulls to be afraid again.

Another thing you could try is like a windmill that would just keep rotating on the trampoline to keep pushing the gulls away, but they even learn to block the windmill and sit anyway. You also have to be careful not to hurt the gulls. They are a protected species, because they eat all of the garbage like dead fish. There are big fines for killing or hurting seagulls on purpose.

You can at least be thankful that you only have seagulls. We have problems with cormorants, and their mess is a lot harder to clean up after.

What is the most effective and cheapest way to keep leaves and acorns off my trampoline?

Alex McMul

I have a trampoline but I live in the woods and I always have to clean it. I've heard of trampoline covers but do they work? Could I use a tarp? Anything else I could do?

Answer
Someone already mentioned trampoline tarps--it's a great way to keep off any sort of debris.

For already existing stuff, any kind of broom or rake will do the job just fine. A hose with good water pressure might be a good idea too if birds decide to use your trampoline for target practice--if they haven't already. You could use soap to really get it out (and I hear the slipping and sliding around is a small part of the fun), but I've also heard too much soap can damage the mat over time.

Hope I was of help! :)

What's your house like?

Karen

I kinda like my house, it has claass, in a way. It's italian styled I think, & than we have like a one acre backyard & a greenhouse in the back & a big trampoline. & than, like, i live in a bungolow & from the outside its really hobo looking, but in the inside its kinda big, we could play hide & seek in it all day. also some random old dude died in it so that kinda freaks me out.
I miss my old house :(

Answer
I like my house, it's really comfortable and I'm used to it! It's a large three and a half story brick house, with a completely finished basement (it's like half underground, but mostly above ground because we live on a hill and my house is built into it). We have a large deck with a pool and I love the view from the back because we have a sun room and it sort of looks like the tower of a castle (only it's all stucco in the back). Our pool is built into the hill, so one side is a rock wall, and the other is a deck suspended probably 30 feet above the ground, and on the ground is a river made up of rocks that "flows" under the deck and out the other side. Then above the rock wall is a flat pit filled with sand and a volleyball net.

I've always been very active so our yard is a slightly slanted hill (one side is very steep and great for sledding!) with a baseball diamond (we have the plates and pitcher's mound, but no official lines or net and it is at a slant). Our driveway is a two car driveway and at the end we have a half basketball court (with painted lines) which is next to a four car garage, then there is a brick walkway leading to the side door and if you continue down it you will pass the "bog" where the river rock ends (there are several plants planted around it to look like a bog) and a set of stairs leading to the deck and the back door. A brick path also leads off of the driveway and to our front door which is made up of two grand, red doors, and it leads into the foyer.

Inside our house, we have several rooms. On the first floor we have a breakfast room (it's designed so it looks French with a large, 400 year old wood table), our kitchen (which is large with a marble counter with a TV that comes up from it), a mud room (which comes off of the kitchen and leads to the side door and the garage), a dining room (it's green with a dark mahogany table, a china tea cup display set, mahogany drawers filled with our finest utensils and place settings, and painting line the wall), then there is a hall way leading to a living room (it is green with a fireplace, lounging area, and coffee table), a library (a dark room lined with books in glass cases all around, a desk, paintings, a couch, and end tables), a formal powder room, and our family room (it's large, with two couches, an armchair, a fireplace, a large two-story tv cabinet, and a large wood coffee table), which leads to the sunroom (it's painted to look like it's outdoors and the ground is red tile so it looks like dirt). Downstairs (the basement) we have the Media Room (with a roll down screen and projector), a luggage closet, a wine cellar, a storage room, the exercise room, a guest room (with twins beds and it's ballerina themed, but it looks very mature), a full bathroom, and the playroom (it has double glass doors with a smaller room room for arts + crafts). On the second floor is just living space, it has 5 bedrooms (one is a master bedroom with two closets, a king bed, a couch, two futons, and a large tv set of to the side is another hallway which leads to the grand bathroom with a jacuzzi, a shower, a separate water closet, and two grand sings, with marble tiled floor), 5 bathrooms, my bedroom is large with twin beds, a couch, two desks, a set of drawers, a night stand, an armchair, a wooden chest, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom. On the third floor we have two more bedrooms, two more bathrooms, and my mother's "loft" studio. Her studio is very large, perhaps the largest room in the house, with two closets coming off of it, a couch, an armchair, 1.5 story ceilings, a desk, two glass tables, two end tables, and a large glass display cabinet with old family photos. One wall is filled just with family photos too.

Sorry if my house is really hard to envision, it's very unique, though, and I love it! My parents designed it for my brothers and I so we could have friends over and just enjoy it. It's not too huge (12,000 squ feet) but we make very good use of the space! It's at the end of a cul-du-sac, so I get to play with my neighbors too! It's so fun because in the summer all of us will play manhunt in the woods near our house and in the winter they'll all go sledding in my backyard, we also set up a ramp in the winter to sled down!

I am very fortunate and blessed with my house though, and I have no complaints.
- Catherine

Is this a good bucket list so far?

Ok so I was just wondering. What can my three kids play outside that will keep them busy? Two are 10 &one is 12. They have a trampoline to do stuff on, a swing set &lots of grass. Suggestions on any games?!

Answer
You could add some new accessories to their swing set. We recently added a rock climbing wall and money bars, which added a new element of fun. The website below also has some outdoor games, like a really cool inflatable basketball set and soccer game. They also have a giant outdoor chess set that looks fun.

What Should be Attention When Start Your Inflatable slides Business

Answer
Bouncy castle and similar structures are temporary inflatable buildings and structures that are rented for functions, school and church festivals and village fetes and used for recreational purposes, mainly used by children. The growth in popularity of moonwalks has led to an inflatable rental industry which includes inflatable slides, obstacle courses, games, and more. Inflatables are ideal for portable amusements because they are easy to transport and store. The name given to such structures varies.

They have been marketed with such names as bounce house, Moon Bounce, Astrojump, Moonwalk, Jolly Jump and Spacewalk. The term "Bounce House" came to popularity with the resurgence of hipster culture in New England. "Pula pula" is another name commonly used by Latinos, which literally means "jump jump". The term 'Jolly Jumps' is often used to describe the inflatable playground structure in rural areas and some areas in the Western US, but the term is otherwise obsolete.

Although they are often aimed at children, adult castles can be hired in the many countries, like UK,US,China,Europe and so on. Because of liability concerns, moonwalks are rarely rented to adults in the US. Historically, names for inflatable structures, particularly in the United States, are composed of two, one syllable words. In the United States the terms that consist of two, one syllable words are popular. In Southern California, another popular term is Closed Inflatable Trampolines, or "CITs". Bouncy Castle or Inflatable Castle are used in Ireland, the UK, New Zealand and parts of Australia, and Jumping Castles in Arizona, Australia, Canada and South Africa.

As a whole the term moon bounce has become a generic term for enclosed inflatable trampolines worldwide. Following the popular of inflatables, more and more countries start a rental business, and the kinds of inflatables more and more day by day. Except bouncy castle, also water slide, inflatable tent, giant inflatables, bounce house for children. Many buyer found that usually people are willing buy one or two pieces of bouncy castle or water slide for their children. So not only to rental inflatble, some big imported especial import some small size family using inflatables.

Actually that brings big profit to importer, becuase inflatable field is few in their country and the cose is very expensive in Europe and America,Australia. Also some advertising company will order the big inflatable tent for sport, like tennis, basketball, football, badmin and so on. In winter many countries will snow, it will effect outdoor sports, but many youngers like outdoor sport in winter. Based on this, some smart merchant found that and place order about tent. One of my clients even order an big size of 30*60*15m for 600 people. At present his business is very good.

Husband is getting deployed! Fitness goals for 9 months?

My husband is getting deployed next month, and I am wondering of ways to pass the time! He will be gone for nine months!
I am overweight, so I plan to lose weight while he was gone. But, I want to know what a realistic goal would be! I've never been vert physical, so I don't know how much I can lose, or what I would have to do!
I need like a fitness plan for the time period! Is there somewhere I can go or a website to use?
I will be living in Utah..

Oh, and I am 19 years old.. 5 feet 5 inches, and I weight 199.4 pounds! I used to weigh 120! I want to be as light as possible by April, so anyone who can help me figure out how to get that way, please let me know!!
Email me if you have any questions or anything you can suggest to help!! Thank you in advance!

Answer
You should weigh 120 so losing 80 lbs in 9 months will be easy with will power and this low-carb food/exercise plan:

Breakfast: Cook 9-grain cereal (from health food store) in water with rolled oats and wheat bran. Make a big pot of it on weekends and nuke 1/2 cup each morning. Add low fat milk or yogurt, banana, walnuts and berries. Drink hot Ovaltine. Breakfast should be your largest meal of the day to raise blood sugar level which falls during the night.

Lunch: Egg, tuna or turkey ½ sandwich on whole grain bread with bean or alfalfa sprouts, yogurt, fresh fruit. If you had meat loaf for dinner, bring a meat loaf sandwich on whole grain bread (NO mayo). On cold days, a squatty thermos of hot chili, split peas with ham, or beef stew.

Snacks: Fresh (not canned) fruit: banana, orange, apple, kiwi, grapes, peach, nectarine, cherries, pineapple. No chips and nothing ever from a vending machine.

Dinner: salad with white meat chicken and fresh (not canned) veggies: tomatoes, 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of shredded cabbage, shredded or sliced carrots, alfalfa or bean sprouts, zucchini, green or red peppers, hard boiled eggs, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, tofu, cottage cheese...Instead of dressing, squeeze 1/4 tomato over it.

Or homemade bean/vegetable soups; great way to recycle leftovers.
Or grilled fish with steamed veggies.

Or omelet: In blender, whip together eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, onions, garlic powder. Cook with mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and green or red peppers.

Foods to avoid: junk food, fast foods, pastries, desserts, sugar, salty foods, syrup (even canned fruit in syrup), peanut butter, fat/grease (pork, wieners, chops, bacon, salami, pizza, chips, fries), pasta, potatoes, white bread, rice, canned veggies, ice cream, soda, chips. And of course no tobacco or alcohol in any form. Both of those add wrinkles and destroy your brain. No oil except olive and mac nut. Coffee also rots your brain.

To keep your skin clear, drink water. Veg. juice is good too. But not canned juice (too much sugar.)

Join a gym; they have all the equipment and staff to show you how to use it to get the look you want to achieve. Much cheaper than buying your own equipment. Go hiking, biking, jogging, bowling, swimming, rowing, jump rope, play tennis, badminton, volleyball, soccer, jumping jacks, lift weights, trampoline? To tone your tummy, do sit ups, push ups, pull ups, leg lifts, butt raises and crunches.

If you lack energy, take Super B complex. Try appetite suppressants.

I need help with packing! even tho i travel lots!?

City Ni

okay, so i am going to a water ramps camp in Utah with some people from my ski team. here is what i need to bring.
life jacket
swimsuit and boardshorts
wetsuit
sunblock
athletic shoes
warm clothes (for after jumping cuz the pool is cold)
athletic clothes (for trampoline training)
sunglasses
pajamas
extra clothes for hanging around
extra shoes
and stuff to do on the plane
I have never gone before and i need to know about how much space this will take up. I am a 13 year old girl and i need help packing :)

Answer
Put everything together, put it in suitcases or bags you have laying around and measure. Mostly you can borrow a suitcase for this from a family member or friend, certainly if you do not need it for the real travel.

I think you need to start with your gear, the life jacket and wetsuit, and the warm clothes. I guess that those will mostly fill a fair size suitcase.
You can than fill the corners and other empty spots with your swimsuits, shorts, underwear and so on.

If you are restricted to one suitcase only, you may need to put the rest of your gear in a backpack and carry that on the plane. In that case you should restrict your 'extra clothes for hanging around and extra shoes' to the absolute minimum.
If you can check in two suitcases, make sure they both fall within the size limits, that might mean that you have to put your wetsuit in a different case than your life jacket.

The stuff to do on the plane needs to be in your hand luggage, and should not be too much. Bring an Ipod or MP3 player. A game, which can be an electronic hand held one, like a gameboy, but also a pack of cards. And a book.
And bring a diary and a camera, you may want to buy one of the waterproof one time use camera's, so you can also use it on, in and around the water.
Put your toilet bag in your suitcase, in it you need at least soap, shampoo, tooth brush and paste and a comb. If you have long hair, put a hand full of hair ties in it too.

I think the camp will be a blast, have fun.

what countries have athletes in every olympic sport?

I just want to know what countries, if any, have athletes entered in every possible competition.
I just want to know what countries, if any, have athletes entered in every possible Olympic competition.
What a bunch of garbage answers! From just guessing to off topic to telling me to figure it out by giving me an Olympic link. Maybe I accidentally posted in the elementary school Q/A area? If you don't know don't waste the space/time!

Answer
I would absolutely definitely say it is China. China is in all sports in this Beijing Olympics Games 2008 as well as being the host nation. For this Beijing Olympics Games 2008 in joint second place in the number events that a nation is taking part. I would say it is the USA and Russia. In third place I would say it is Australia and Great Britain. In fourth place I would say it is Germany and in fifth place I would say it is Canada. In sixth place I would say it is Brazil.

This is a crystal clear historical statistical question in the making!!!!! First question we all need to ask is... how many Olympics Games events are there in total? Once we know that and then we can add up the total amount for each country participating in various events. Then we know the ratio for each country. Second question we need to ask is why countries only enter into these sports but no other sporting events? Is it the sport they have the best chance of winning, is a question of money, is it the only sport they know in their country, is it they have not qualified for that sporting events, is it cultural reasonings, is it political, is it social, is it physical, is it indirect prejudice, is it a question of top facilities and world class facilities and others.

For example I totally agree that the African Nations have not enter any athletes in Gymnastics, Sailing events, Cycling events, Rowing events and even the basic Swimming events. Maybe they do not have the top Sporting Facilities and top World Class Trainers to train them all. Is it basically the question about money and proper facilities. I would like to see many countries throughout the world to participate in many events in the future Olympic Games yet to come.

http://results.beijing2008.cn/WRM/ENG/Schedule/index.shtml

By checking the schedules section of the Beijing Olympics Games 2008, I can calculate in total - there are 302 Gold medals to be won in other words there are 302 events in total. As well as there are only 38 Olympics Games Sporting categories of which 302 Gold medals can be won.

There are 47 events in Athletics. There are 34 events in Swimming. There are 18 events in Wrestling. There are 15 events in Weightlifting. There are 15 events in Shooting. There are 14 events in Rowing. There are 14 events in Judo. There are 14 events in Gymnastics Artistics. There are 12 events in Canoe/Kayak - Flatwater. There are 11 events in Sailing. There are 11 events in Boxing. There are 10 events in Fencing. There are 10 events in Cycling - Track. There are 8 events in Taekwondo. There are 8 events in Diving. There are 6 events in Equestrian. There are 5 events in Badminton. There are 4 events in Table Tennis. There are 4 events in Archery. There are 4 events in Cycling - Road. There are 4 events in Canoe/Kayak - Slalom. There are 4 events in Tennis. There are 2 events in Basketball. There are 2 events in Beach Volleyball. There are 2 events in Cycling - BMX. There are 2 events in Cycling - Mountain Bike. There are 2 events in Football (Soccer). There are 2 events in Gymnastic Rhythmic. There are 2 events in Trampoline. There are 2 events in Handball. There are 2 events in Hockey. There are 2 events in Modern Pentathlon. There are 2 events in Synchronized Swimming. There are 2 events in Triathlon. There are 2 events in Volleyball. There are 2 events in Water Polo. There are 1 event in Baseball. There are 1 event in Softball.

The smaller countries have very small or a tiny chance winning any medal because the large countries like USA, Russia, China, Australia, Canada, Germany, Brazil and Great Britain winning all the Gold medals in the Olympics due to their larger sporting populations and have a wider choice of selection of the sporting population and sporting events. It is really cater for their larger sporting populations and richer countries. The other countries do not have a chance at all and do not cater for sports for the poorer nations. For example the nation of Vietnam which plays the sport of Sepaktakraw and won it in the Asian Games. India another country which has very large population and even bigger than China population now but plays the sports of Kabaddi which was play in the Asian Games and also won it. India is also good in Cricket. Why is it - you do not see any Indian Subcontinent countries winning anything in the world largest sporting event - The Olympics as well as no Indian Subcontinent Asian person achieveing anything in any sporting events. There are many races and there are many ethnic groups or ethnic minorities - African, Afro-Caribbean, Chinese, Arab, South American, Hispanics, Slavs, Europeans, Japanese, Korean and others which are totally succeeding but none at all from the Indian Subcontinent which is absolutely shocking. Something has to be done as soon as possible because it is totally bad for the World Development and the World Civilisation. I feel that the Indian Subcontinent has been left out in all this, maybe isolated from all this and have been neglected totally.

Medal Table.

Overall Medal Standings:

Naturally ridding my backyard of green ants and meat ants?

Sephrenia

I have a really bad problem with meat ants and green ants in the backyard. It is a very big backyard and our main problem is with the ants is up near the house where the children's swing set and trampoline is.
I can't use poisons cause one of my children gets hives from that stuff and I don't wish too make our dog sick.
Is there anything natural that can be used to deter them from this area of the yard or urge them to move too move down the back of the yard?

Answer
Try ant baits that use boric acid as the active ingredient. The bait will make its way back to the colony and do more than spot treatments. Boric acid only becomes toxic to dogs/babies if they eat a big pile of it. The amount in a few baits won't do much of anything if eaten.

The green ants (Oecophylla smaragdina) nest in bushes and trees, so you can destroy the nest by cutting it down and drowning/burning it. They look like oversized cocoons made of silk and leaves. The meat ants (Iridomyrmex purpureus) nest in the ground and you can kill the nests by pouring a pot of boiling water into the entrance.

Another option - With meat ants and green ants, I'm guessing you live in Australia. If so, then those green ants make a tasty meal. Twist off the green ant butt and pop it in your mouth. Tastes like sour candy.

I'm a 15 year old girl and I'm really ashamed of my weight. I'm 189 pounds and 5 feet 4 1/4 inches.

I have lost 23 pounds in a year and a half, but I'm going to an amusement park in two weeks with my friend and he wants to go into the water park and I hate my body still! I don't eat that healthy. I'm told I don't eat often enough either. I eat every 8-15 hours.

I'm lactose intolerant so no dairy for me :/ I'm also allergic to egg whites and beef and bananas. Healthy food and I'm allergic to it. Ironic is it not? I've asked my doctor to help me substitute those foods with others or maybe give me some tips on how to work out, but she says she can't.

Can I please have some advice? I'm trying my hardest to loose weight, but I've been overweight my whole life and have no clue how to manage a healthy weight ):
Also, problem areas are my lower tummy, my butt, and my hips definitely! My legs aren't as big of a problem, but they need work as well s: so some workouts for those areas would be lovely.

Answer
I'll try to give a list of how to lose weight and sorry if you are allergic to anything said! Just never give up on yourself :)

13 Ways to lose weight.

1. Switch from drinking soda to drinking water and juice.
2. Don't eat a lot of junk foods like chips and stay away from sugary foods like chocolate.
3. Try to eat breakfast, small meals in the afternoon (optional) and your main meal. Eating breakfast every morning starts your metabolism system and make it where you can lose weight quickly.
4. Do some cardio which also hikes up your metabolism and keep you fit as well as keeping your
heart and lungs healthy. Cardio can be walking, jogging, running, biking, hiking, lifting weights, dancing, jump roping, jumping on a trampoline, horse riding, playing sports and games, and many others.
Tip:Between walking, jogging, and running. You lose more 1.running 2.jogging 3.running
5. Get plenty of sleep.
6. Dine at a table with your family helps you not over-eat or under-eat.
7. Keep a food journal and keep track of what you eat.
8. Motivate yourself and get support from others.
9. The more you move the more you will lose.
10. Avoid hunger. Eat regular meals and snacks.
11. Eat fruits for snacks. Apples, oranges, berries, grapes, cherries, peach, pears.
12. Pace, don't race. Force yourself to eat more slowly, and savor each bite.
13. Hydrate before meals. Drink a cup or two of water.

Now for the tummy, butt, and hips workouts. Here's two exercises that will work what you need.

1. Cardio in general helps with getting rid of stomach fat.-go biking, walking, dancing, etc.
Here is a dancing video on youtube that I do for 20 minutes every day to keep me in shape.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dILstcZ78nc

2. To get rid of butt fat, hip fat, and leg fat you can do squats or go biking. You can pick either of these two exercises for this one because they work them all.
- Squats: Stand with feet hip-width apart and squat, keeping back straight, abs in and knees behind your toes. Let your butt lightly touch chair and squeeze butt to stand up.
- Biking: Just get on a bike and have fun. Also great for your heart.

Anyways I hoped I helped!! Took me awhile but I'm done :) Just keep trying and motivating yourself and If you keep it up you should have the body you always wanted.

What are some good ways to lose weight fast?

Nicky D

Like exercises, I like to dance, run, and jump on my trampoline. I don't want to buy videos or stuff like that... Can any give me some suggestions? And healthy suggestions about food instead of junk food.

Answer
Okay, it's really great that you like to run, because that is one of the best forms of exercise you can do because it is cardio and:

1) burns off your stored fat
2) "reveals" your muscles by losing this fat.
3) as well as defines, tones, and strengthens muscles.

So, I would suggest that you run as much/can a day. If that doesn't seem to work out too well, try going to the gym and getting on the elliptical. It is a little less strenuous on your knees and hips, but still really great!

If you like jumping on your trampoline, you probably wouldn't mind jump roping which is also very beneficiail to your health and losing weight.

As far as food goes, I would cut down on fat intake, increase your protein intake (especially if you are going to be doing cardio exercise and building you muscles; protein is vital to build muscles) and drink lots of water. TONS of water. And, when you have the urge to indulge in bad foods, or snack, just drink some water or low calories drinks to help fill your stomach and you will find that it does wonders. Also, try cutting your calorie intake by about 500 calories a day.

If you do these things, you will (depending on your weight) lose 1-3-pounds a week. This is a healthy way to lose the weight, and sorry to say, but there is really no EASY way to lose weight fast.

Lots of work involved. Good luck and I hope I helped.

How do i motivate myself to get in shape?

That girl.

hi im a 17 year old girl who is currently 115 lbs (last time i checked which was two months ago i probably gained weighter:( ) i am 5 1' and i really want to change my lazy habits and get into shape. I know im not fat but i think i will be eventually if i dont keep healthy. First off the main issue for me is my stomach its not super fat but i am getting a bump. I was wondering if theres any tips on cheap healthy eating and how should start off exercising. Another thing i would like to improve is my butt and thin out my legs more so it more lean and not so much masculine looking. Thanks to who ever takes the time to answer much appreciated :)

Answer
I just wrote this massive paragraph for you then I did something no idea what and it changed page and now its gone and now i am depressed. I will try start again.
So basically I am like you. I am 16 5'1 and weigh about 106 lbs but I am quite small. Well I have a flabby stomach and now when i sit it goes into rolls and hangs over my pants. Yea not cool. Well every summer I say I want to get in shape but then summer comes and I am like oh well i can suck it in and get away with it. Yea well this year I cant so much. I have very little motivation. When I do exercise I come home and pig out on junk food because I think it wont matter because I just exercised.
I just love food so much I can;t resist.
Heres just a few tips of thing I have tried but lost motivation for:
1) Get lots of sleep. It makes you feel great
2) go to bed early then get up and run in the mornings. It means you are up early so not late for school. You run on an empty stomach. you get the whole afternoon to do whatever you want. 30 minutes is all you need.
3) The more you run the easier it is. So once you start to exercise and run a few times a week it help you get fit. so then when you run you don't get so puffed and its not so hard and you can run further and get fitter. I just never have the motivation to stock with it longer than a week but a week improves your fitness a lot.
4)Think about what you eat and limit some things. You eat to fuel your body. So think about what you put it in. One can of soda/coke takes a 50 minute run to burn off. Its not worth it right. Its bad for you anyway when water is a lot more hydrating. before you eat something ask yourself if you need it. Have like one bad thing you eat a day like a piece of chocolate slice and thats your unhealthy food for the day. Have fruit as a dessert. Make sure to eat 5+ a day. Drink water if your hungry because sometimes your just thirsty or bored. Once a week it is alright to have some bad food such as chips, it helps to stop cravings and having these binge eats of junk food.
5) make a exercise plan to stick on your walll to remind you. Have daaily exercises such as puch ups, leg raises, lunges, squates, stretches, plank, burpees. Look on the internet for good toning exercises
6) bouncing on the trampoline is actually good exercise. It can tone you up and apparently 10 minutes on a tramp is equivilant to 30minutes running.
7) swimming lengths is good exercise. It is 0 impact of joints and is quite relaxing yet very physical and help with fitness a lot. Apparently swimming equals double time exercise on land.
8) when you loose motivation remember that I want you to suceed :) remember why you started it and what you hope to get out of all the work you do

Thanks for this I am now more motivated.
I will leave you with some nice inspiration quotes. There are great ones on Instamagram if you have one and you need more motivation

-success isnt given its earned
-wake up with determination, go to bed with satisfaction
-better sore than sorry
-set your mind to it and you will achieve
-train insane or remain the same
-JUST DO IT,because it may suck not being able to eat your favorite foods as much as you use to, but it sucks even more to be stuck in a body you hate
-all that counts is what you achieve today today. Take it day by day and it will all add up in the long run
-refuse to loose
-if you keep going, you wont regret it
-learn to love the burn
-you are one step closer than you were yesterday, don't give up
-you dont always get what you wish for, but you get what you work for
-you are going to want to give up, DON"T
-dont let another month go to waste
-It will take time, effort, sweat and tears, but you will get there
-yesterday you said tomorow, today you do it today
-you will only get what you work for, nothing more nothing less
-everyday is a step closer
-keep going and you will reach it
-sweat is fat crying
-One day I want to honestly say, I made it
-Dont wait for inspriation, be the inspiration (its actually quite a good one this)
-eat clean, train dirty
-The secret to getting ahead, is getting started
-remember, slow progress is progress
Good things come to those who work their asses off, and never give up
-To change your body you must change your mind
-fitness is 100% dedication
-excuses don;t burn calories

Hope you appreciate the time i put into this thankyou

inflatable trampoline for lakes image

Baby Shes

We are turning our lake into a fun place to go bbq on the weekends and to swim. If you were to go to a place such as this, what kind of things would you want to see? I want to get more ideas from different people, we already are getting a zipline, rope swing and a floating dock for out in the lake.

Answer
I Personally Think You Should Have A Trampoline In The Water, And Multiple Inflatables In The Water, Like Those Rock Climbing Things. Also You Should Look Into Purchasing A "Blob" Like Most Summer Camps At Lakes Have.

Does anyone have any good ideas for a 16 birthday party?

Dance Party: This is by far the most popular party theme. It's the most popular for a reason, if you find the right entertainment it can be the most fun of all the different party types. Think about your school dances, many schools only have two per year of which you may only be allowed to attend one! But everywhere you look you see other people having dances on TV or in movies. Dances allow you to throw your own party just like an adult where you can have a blast with all of your closest friends. If you find a DJ who specializes in sweet sixteen's with lights, games and contests you (or your parents) don't have to worry about anything except showing up, picking out the right music and having a blast with all of your friends! The right DJ should make sure everyone is involved and keep the party going all night.

2.Rock Band, DDR or Guitar Hero Theme Party: Why not take the games you play with your friends to the next level? Setup a screen, rent some lighting and speakers and have a real rock championship to determine the best Rock Band, Guitar Hero, or DDR players. Setting up a tournament with brackets and themed prizes can make your sweet sixteen party a blast!

3.Outdoor Movie Party: Having your party outdoors can be awesome for you and your friends to take in the great summer weather and watch a movie together. You can rent all the equipment you need to have a massive screen in your backyard or by the pool so you can all watch a movie together or make a movie night out of it. Having games and party favors within the theme can help turn it into an awesome party.

4.Pool Party: Pools are a great way for your friends to relax and hang out in the pool. Hiring a DJ to keep the music going and to incorporate the pool into the evening with contests and games can be a really great party during the summer. You can setup a giant inflatable movie screen next to the pool to show the movies on, or have a volleyball net or basketball hoop if you don't already have one for the pool.

5.Roller Skating/Ice Skating Party: Having an activity to focus on throughout the night is important if you don't like being the center of attention the whole night. It makes it easy for everyone to have a great time from your really outgoing guests, to friends who need a little help getting into the party. Having a roller or ice skating party can be a great theme option. Many rinks have a lot of creative ways to enhance your party. Having a local band or a DJ can also be a great way to kick up a party to the next level.

6.Lake Party: If you have a lake or campground near you, these parties can be the most memorable parties and weekends of your life. Most larger lakes have boats or pontoon boats that you can rent, or you can rent jet skis to have a blast with all your friends for your birthday party! Some lakes you can even combine pontoon boats with a dance party if the lake is big enough! You can also look into water trampolines, these can help turn your sweet sixteen party into the party of the year!

7.Scavenger Hunt: Having all of your friends show up ahead of time and surprising the birthday person with a party and then going out on a scavenger hunt can be an awesome party idea! It gives everyone something to do as well as adding competition into the night. Theme each stop after something that the birthday person likes or reminds you of them. You can do photo or video hunts or hunt for physical objects around town. Have the final location be a secret until you have found all the clues, then everyone can meet up at the final location to really celebrate your party with everyone together!

What is a bouncing castle?

Q. does jesus have one?
what do you think his looks like? surely he doesn't have the disney princess one, right?

Answer
A bouncing castle is an inflatable structure filled with (wait for it, wait for it, and by definition of inflatable) air. People, usually children, but sometimes adults wishing the were still children, or the occasional parent who has to demonstrate how to do it, can enter and bounce around on.

They have been marketed under a variety of names: Astrojump or moonwalk or moon bounce in the US, bouncy castle or inflatable castle in the UK and parts of Australia, and as jumping castles and party castles in Australia. They are often in the shape of a castle but can be made into a variety of designs. The walls and floor are both bouncy, like a trampoline.

Remember when Homer Simpson busted the bouncing castle at the children's fair? Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh!!!!

The original inflatable structure was designed in 1959 by John Scurlock. He was experimenting with inflatable covers for tennis courts when he noticed his employees enjoyed jumping on the covers. He started the Space Walk company to market them for children and called them Space Walks. He started out with a large air mattress. In 1967-1968, he decided to add walls. The windows were made of solid clear plastic and were enclosed like a bubble- one fan inflated the base while another inflated the bubble and circulated air for the riders.

So there you go....and yes, Jesus has one..... heaven is the greatest place....Ferris Wheels......Roller Coasters......Bumper Cars.....Bouncing Castles.....and oh yeah, The Our Lord God! Amen!

Hallelujah!

P.S. His is probably shaped like the temple in Jerusalem (if you must know!).

rockliz200

I am trying to figure out were to go on vacation this year I know I want to go to the beach but to one that is not overcrowded, and it needs to be kid friendly and affordable in GA, FL the southeast

Answer
Clear Water Beach Florida was rated one of the best FAMILY beaches in the US.

At nights they have a festival on the pier where your kids can get their faces painted, watch performers with fire, theres usually a monkey and lots of fun crafts to look at and buy.

They also put up trampolines and those big inflatable slides (it looks like a shark)

Plus in the summer the ocean water is insanely warm

Need outside activities for children to do at a family reunion?

Ginger S

Can anyone suggest any outside activities for children of all ages? This will be on July 4th so it will most likely be 100 degrees. I was thinking water balloons and squirt guns. If it doesn't cost too much maybe we could rent a water inflatable thing. Any other ideas? they can be water or not water related.. or even a few inside activities would be great or stations to set up so they can come and go.
Thanks!

Answer
outside activities;
kitty pool
sprinkler
rent or borrow a trampoline
pinata
squirt guns
shovels and buckets
tennis balls
volleyballs
hula hoops
jump ropes
bikes
scooters
chalk

Inside activities;
board games
Movies
you could put together a family photos video and show it at the reunion
markers and paper for coloring

that is about it for inside...more to do outside on a hot summers day. :) have fun at the picnic and I hope I helped.

Naturally ridding my backyard of green ants and meat ants?

water trampolines in australia on TRAMPOLINE KIDDY - Toyland Australia
water trampolines in australia image
