Answer
well if you are asking for a good quality hair straightener I recommend you the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 450f with temperature control, dual voltage, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. You can check it out at http://bit.ly/q2wJbJ or if you are in Canada at http://bit.ly/qK95Hu . Or check out the reviews at http://bit.ly/oTDaYj . It works pretty good with any type of hair, plus it leaves the hair soft, shiny and very straight. I hope this helps and good luck. :D

Camping with a 18 month old?

A.J.'s Mom

We are going camping and I was just wondering what people think I should bring with an 18 month old. I have plenty diapers and wipes, milk, and snacks. But what other things should I bring. Oh and I have plenty cloths packed also. Just looking for advice. Thanks =)

Oh and please dont tell me that he is too young and all that. We took him with us when he was 8 months and he loved it, but at that time he wasnt walking and could stay in a play pin

Answer
Camping out is a wonderful way of spending family time. It is also a healthy change of scenery for the little ones. Our family has never thought that kids were too young to go camping, we have just had to have things with us that were appropriate to their ages and activity levels.

We live in Florida where there all sorts of things to do and see so we started our grandchildren in harnesses as soon as they were walking and got umbrella strollers for when they got tired. It ended up being great later on.

It made camping so simple. They had play pens before they walked and then we moved into the harness and stroller mode. Many camping areas have surfaces and paths that can accommodate the lightweight strollers.

But, until they got really heavy, the backpack seat was also useful. The main thing was to have enough things for them to do with their short attention spans. Physical things like walking, climbing and running is good because it wears them out--in a good way. A good nap time and more physical activity gets them tired enough for bedtime.

So, take toys with you that involve activity like collapsible mini basketball hoop and ball, a tyke's mini trampoline, bean bag toss game, arm swimmies in case you go in the water or an inflatable swim seat, small size life vest so that you can go fishing, canoeing or boating--a good hat so that you don't have to worry about a little face getting sunburned, building blocks or that sort of toy so that it's different every time they play with it, and some music that is familiar, or video that is soothing. Don't forget the favorite snuggley friend and blanky, either. If you are reading to your little one, bring favorite books, or buy some new ones as part of the trip experience.

Favorite or familiar things like their own bath towel from home or pillow, or even a special wash cloth and soap are also good to bring along. Keep things interesting so that they don't have to much down time, because they are so active at 18 months. It will be a fine balance between being tired and overtired but don't put your baby in a position to be overwhelmed and all will be well.

You will have so much fun seeing him reacting to his surroundings and having new experiences--and he will be so enriched. Go, have a good time--and then do it again next year!!

What Should be Attention When Start Your Inflatable slides Business

Answer
Bouncy castle and similar structures are temporary inflatable buildings and structures that are rented for functions, school and church festivals and village fetes and used for recreational purposes, mainly used by children. The growth in popularity of moonwalks has led to an inflatable rental industry which includes inflatable slides, obstacle courses, games, and more. Inflatables are ideal for portable amusements because they are easy to transport and store. The name given to such structures varies.

They have been marketed with such names as bounce house, Moon Bounce, Astrojump, Moonwalk, Jolly Jump and Spacewalk. The term "Bounce House" came to popularity with the resurgence of hipster culture in New England. "Pula pula" is another name commonly used by Latinos, which literally means "jump jump". The term 'Jolly Jumps' is often used to describe the inflatable playground structure in rural areas and some areas in the Western US, but the term is otherwise obsolete.

Although they are often aimed at children, adult castles can be hired in the many countries, like UK,US,China,Europe and so on. Because of liability concerns, moonwalks are rarely rented to adults in the US. Historically, names for inflatable structures, particularly in the United States, are composed of two, one syllable words. In the United States the terms that consist of two, one syllable words are popular. In Southern California, another popular term is Closed Inflatable Trampolines, or "CITs". Bouncy Castle or Inflatable Castle are used in Ireland, the UK, New Zealand and parts of Australia, and Jumping Castles in Arizona, Australia, Canada and South Africa.

As a whole the term moon bounce has become a generic term for enclosed inflatable trampolines worldwide. Following the popular of inflatables, more and more countries start a rental business, and the kinds of inflatables more and more day by day. Except bouncy castle, also water slide, inflatable tent, giant inflatables, bounce house for children. Many buyer found that usually people are willing buy one or two pieces of bouncy castle or water slide for their children. So not only to rental inflatble, some big imported especial import some small size family using inflatables.

Actually that brings big profit to importer, becuase inflatable field is few in their country and the cose is very expensive in Europe and America,Australia. Also some advertising company will order the big inflatable tent for sport, like tennis, basketball, football, badmin and so on. In winter many countries will snow, it will effect outdoor sports, but many youngers like outdoor sport in winter. Based on this, some smart merchant found that and place order about tent. One of my clients even order an big size of 30*60*15m for 600 people. At present his business is very good.

inflatable trampolene?

linda d

I have one of those outdoor jumpolene's...it's a inflatable trampoline. How can i prevent it for getting dirty and rained on when it's outside??? I can't blow it down all the time...that would be a pain...
its pretty big...what can i cover it with and where would you buy it?

Answer
We have one of those. The castle. We bought 2 tarpaulins, 1 just a little bit bigger than the jumpolene 10'x10' to put under it and the other 16'x 20' to cover. We use camping stakes to keep it secure. Hope this helps.

What is the difference between a water trampoline and a water bouncer? 10 points for best answer!?

I want to buy a water trampoline and was wondering the difference between a water trampoline and a water bouncer. I am a competitive gymnast and need a lot of bounce. My budget is tight. I do not want to spend over $400 dollars. Can you tell me which one is cheaper. Thanks for your help! it would be very helpful if you include links.

Answer
I swear I answered like 10 of these exact questions. A few by you. I don't get it. Why are you posting the same question over and over again? Anyway...

Q: What is the difference between a water trampoline and a water bouncer?

A: A water trampoline and a water bouncer have a few distinct differences. Water bouncers tend to be smaller, less expensive and also do not produce as high of jumps. This is because water bouncers have netting that is attached directly to the inflation tube whereas water trampolineâs netting is attached by springs to a frame which allows for higher bouncing and can support heavier weight loads.

Water trampolines and bounce platforms look very similar and indeed are similar. Both water trampolines and bounce platforms are have a bounce surface and both can be used for hours of fun. Attachments are offered for both water trampolines and bounce platforms. Attachments can include slides, logs and ladders. Water trampolines have a bounce surface supported by a steel frame and trampoline springs, bounce platforms have jump surface supported by a spring-less interlocking webbing connected from the floatation tube to the jump surface. Water trampolines can hold more weight and will have a higher jump compared to a bounce platform.

Bounce platforms are a great family recreational product and costs less then a water trampoline. It will support a good amount of weight and will provide a short bounce. Generally a bouncer will not require any assembly other then inflating and anchoring. A water trampoline requires assembling the framed jump surface. This will take about 30 minutes additional set-up time. Because of these differences water trampolines are generally higher priced then bounce platforms.

Is there a maximum distance from shore that I can put my water trampoline?

LUCKY

We have a cabin in Minnesota and I was wondering if there is a maximum distance from shore that you can put rafts or water trampolines? If so, does anyone know the distance? Thanks.

Answer
You need to provide more information. Are you planning to leave it there for the summer or just move it back and forth? If you plan to leave it there you'll need to mark it and light it in some way so that boaters will see the obstruction. You should also keep it clear of any navigation channels that might be near by. You really should ask this question of your local lake association. See if they have any specific rules. If they don't you still want to make sure you make everything as safe as possible, or they will quickly make rules as strict as possible to get rid of trampolines completely. If you place it off shore and someone runs into it at night, you will be legally liable for placing the obstruction out there. If someone simply comes along and tries using your trampoline, and hurts themselves, you will be legally liable because you left it there unsupervised. You need to be very careful how you proceed.

At least get it out as far as you want once and have a great time and enjoy your summer.

How to loose 15 pounds in a short period of time?

Jackie

I'm 13. I will love you forever if you answer this question. This is not supposed to be one of those stupid thingies where the girls are all like bulimic and crap. Seriously, any ideas? Anythings appreciated; except mean and rude answers.

Answer
First, let me start by saying that you don't "loose" weight, you "lose" it. Second, I lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks by getting a small trampoline (a mini tramp) and jumping on that twice a day for about 30 minutes each time. It doesn't sound like much, but I can assure you I lost a LOT of weight!!

Also, cut out all soft drinks, sugar, candy, etc. Drink a lot of water and watch your fat intake. Don't eat fast food either! I assure you that if you do those things you will lose weight quickly. Be careful, and good luck :)

who invented the trampoline ?

Q.

Answer
George Nissan

Here is the full info -

The manufactured trampoline, as we know it today, was created by two men, George Nissen and Larry Griswold, allegedly in George's garage. One day in 1935, with the help of the wrestling coach at the University of Iowa, Nissen and Griswold bolted together an iron frame. A piece of canvas, in which they had inserted grommets along each side, was then attached to the frame by using springs. This was the first trampoline. Nissen called it a Trampoline after hearing "El trampolin" (Spanish for diving board), on a performance tour in Mexico around this time, and registered the term as a trademark. In 1942, Griswold and Nissen decided to formalise their small operation of making trampolines. They created the Griswold-Nissen Trampoline & Tumbling Company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and history was made....
Over to the UK.... In 1949, Ted Blake organised to purchase a second hand Nissen trampoline for Loxford School in Ilford, Essex, from an Aqua Show in Bournemouth. This became the favourite piece of equipment at the school, and they were invited to do a demonstration at the 1951 Festival of Britain. In 1956 Ted Blake became Managing Director of a branch of the Nissen Trampoline Company which was set up in England to cope with the British and European markets.

And so on to Europe.... In 1957 Kurt Baechler of Switzerland, who was working in California at the time, flew to Cedar Rapids, signed for Nissen, and together with Frank LaDue worked out a basic introduction to trampolining. They then took the sport to schools in Germany and Switzerland, and set up the Swiss Headquarters of the Nissen Trampoline Corp. in Kurt's home town of Gumligen, Switzerland. In 1958, after a trampoline competition in Zurich, the first international Nissen Cup was held in the town of Wasen, during the month of August.

It was Bob Bollinger of Rockford, Illinois who revolutionized judging of trampolining, introducing a system that is still being used today (with only a few modifications) separating the difficulty from the evaluation of the execution. The very first Open Trampoline Competition in the UK was at a water carnival organised by the Ilford Diving Club in 1957. The winner on this occasion was an Ilford diver by the name of Mick Forge. It could be said that Mick was the first ever British trampoline champion. The first ever televised British Championships were in 1958, and the First (UK) National Trampoline Championships was held at Stanmore Park, Middlesex, UK in 1959. The first World Championships were held in London in 1964.

Soon after the first World Championships in 1964, the inaugural meeting of prominent trampolinists was held in Frankfurt to explore the formation of an International Trampoline Federation. In 1965 in Twickenham, the Federation was formally recognised as the International Governing Body for the sport. By 1969 the first European Championship was held in Paris and Paul Luxon of London was the winner at the age of 18. The ladies winner was Ute Czech from Germany. From that time onwards, European and World Championships have taken place in alternate years - the European in the odd and the World in the even. In 1990, Ron Froehlich (USA) takes over the Presidency. In 1998, the I.O.C. accepted the F.I.T. as a federation. The F.I.T. then underwent fundamental changes. Its structures were dissolved and as of January 1, 1999, Trampoline became a F.I.G. (Fdration Internationale de Gymnastique) discipline. Horst Kunze (GER) retained the Chair of the Technical Committee. And then in 2000 Trampoline became "Olympic" in Sydney, Australia.

Tumbling's competitive roots go back even further than that of Trampolining. It was even an Olympic Sport in 1932 when F. Wolfe, USA, was the winner. It was in 1976 that the FIT introduced Tumbling to its disciplines.

The third FIT discipline is Double-Mini Trampolining, which has only emerged as a branch of Trampolining since the mid 1970's. Double Mini-Trampoline competition was added in 1978. The first double mini-trampoline began as two individual mini-tramps, separated by a small table covered by a mat. Later, a one-piece unit was developed by Bob Bollinger and is used today as the official equipment for that event.

Australia
We've all heard how trampolining started in the USA, UK and Europe, but what about Australia....?
Trampolining in Australia started in the late 50s, with a few ex-gymnasts seeing trampolines and trampolining in magazines etc from the USA and UK. This resulted in a couple of trampolines being made here in Australia, one in NSW, and one in Victoria. These trampolines were about 20 feet long, made of 3 inch pipe and were fixed frame ones which were bolted together. Consequently, they had to be taken apart and re-assembled each time they were used. They had the traditional shock cord instead of springs, using just one length that was threaded round the whole trampoline. In the early days the beds were made of canvas, but in the late 50s this was changed to the now familiar woven string bed. A couple of web beds were imported from the US by Allan Ploughman who was the Nissen agent for Australia, but these were rather expensive.

The NSW Association was formed in 1960, with Fred Austine being one of the founding members. The first State Championships of any kind in Australia were held in NSW in 1961, where Fred competed at the tender age of 29. Victoria also held a competition later that year, but it was more of an interclub. Victoria held their first State Championships in 1962.

Q. my neighbor on the left hand side always takes advantage of me. when i am not at home, he walks over and uses my pool. he sits on my inflatable chairs and drinks beer while blaring his radio that he pluged in to MY house. he brings his kids over and they use my trampoline. sometimes he also brings his friends over, and tells them that it is his house! other times, he uses my hose that is connected to my faucet. he also steals my electricity with an extension cord he got from my LOCKED garage. when he goes to get his mail, he first opens up my mailboxc and looks at my mail!! i have told him many times to stay off my property and stop stealing my stuff. about 2 years ago we went to small claims court. all they did was make him bay 1/8% of my water and electricty bill. the police have stoped taking my calls for neighbor disputes. they want me and him to sort it out. i am at the end of my wits with him. doeent he suck as a neighbor ???

Answer
Use a couple of video cameras to record his activities. Send copies to the prosecuting attorney in your area. He is burglarizing your home. If you cannot get results from that, you could just distribute copies to the news media. They love juicy items like that. This person is a danger to you and your other neighbors.

-Waterslides

Is there any possible way to lose 8-12 pounds before august 16th?
Honestly I don't care what it takes...or how unhealthy it is.I just need to lose weight before school starts...which is in less than 2 weeks. I just need a kick start...during the school year I eat healthy usaully...but for some reason this summer I just went crazy with the burger king and mcdonalds and gained 10 pounds in 3 months! I just want to be the size I was really fast..I am going into 10th grade in highschool...just give me a diet to wear I can kick start with loosing 8-12 pounds....then it's straight healthy for 9 months...but I want to START school with a good body. PLEASE help...give me a website...anything. OH BTW. The only excersisng I could possible do is swimming...jumping on the trampoline and dancing...I can't run because my mom works all day...and she won't let me jog at night...so yeah... Just help me please! Beig unhealthy and this and that is no matter to me. I am just desperate. Thanks!
FYI "WOW!" My mom dosen't like me running around the subdivision when she isn't home...in the past 2 years 3 girls have been kidnapped from my area and 1 has been raped. So yeah. I am not making any excuses.

Answer
There most certainly is.... Depending on how much you weigh, this is totally doable. First do not eat anymore grams of carbs than your dream weight. i.e. if you want to weigh 130 lbs do not eat more than 130 carbs per day. Eat that much in grams of protein. Do not eat more than 2000 calories a day..MAX! 1500 would be even better! You will need to do cardio at least 5 times a week for 60 minutes or more at a rate that keeps your pulse rate at the target pulse rate for your age more than 30 minutes. After 20 minutes, the body begins to burn sugar and fat! Of course, you should ask your doctor if your healthy enough to eat and exercise as mentioned above. Swimming may be the best cardio activity you can do. I promise if you follow this and drink at least 8-8oz glasses of water every day, you will lose at least 5 lbs the first week alone. If you don't lose the weight you are cheating. Be strong, its worth it! When I was your age I went from a size 11 to a 3 in 4 months. I also kept a diary of the food and exercise on a daily basis and wrote down at least 10 times per day, I know I can do it! I lost more than I originally planned to! Good luck!

What are some fun things to do over the summer?
