- days like? Were they boring or exciting? Did you travel anywhere? Do anything fun like movies, bday party etc? What about your nights? Did you stay up and how long?
Answer
I would call myself the average teen. I had a pretty good summer - I tried to make the most of my days. The highlight of my summer so far was a summer camp I went to for a week (going back next year for longer!). I also went away to a really intense sports camp for 4 nights. I wouldn't call that fun exactly, but it was different and I met some really cool people and improved my game more than I could have ever hoped to. I went to a zipline/rope course park about 4 hours away which was also very exciting and fun! I'd definitely recommend it! Last week I went to a water ziplining/cliff jumping park with a bunch of awesome things to do (too bad it was poorly organized and crowded... not a good combination) including inflatable trampolines, rope swinging into the water, and super fast water slides releasing you 10 feet off the water. I started kind of having friend troubles with 2 of my friends midway through the summer which kind of resulted in a mini depression, but I still tried to do as many fun things as I could. I stayed up between 11 and 12 most nights. The thing about summer is that during the school year every aspect of summer is idealized. Your expectations for the upcoming summer get unrealistically high, and then a lot of people are disappointed.

what toys do you think are a great investment?

Sexy Ma
what toys do you think are a great investment? I have a 12 yr old daughter and 4 yr old son and they use the trampoline EVERYDAY! I also, have a motorcycle power wheels and my daughter will ride on it with him(we have a jeep power wheels but my daughter can't fit into that one comfortably) and a 9 ft. inflatable water slide..Both my kids have sooooo much fun on it!
Answer
I hate to spend money on big expensive toys...Mostly because kids get bored quickly and most toys break or the kids lose pieces really quickly!
I like toys like play-doh, cheap fun and easy to replace.
Our biggest investment was a play kitchen with food and pots and pans. We also built a sandbox, but sand toys are really cheap.
Our favorite toys:
Play-doh
Washable water colors
Wooden blocks
Crayons (Washable)
Books
Wooden puzzles
Hot wheels cars
Army guys
Bubbles (which you can make yourself)
Etc.
