What to do in Denver/Fort Collins?

Animal
I am visiting my friend at Colorado State in about 2 weeks from a Fri afternoon to Sun afternoon and it's my first time to go to Colorado! :) What should we do? She is asking me for ideas since I'm visiting, but I have no idea what there is to do in Denver or Fort Collins. Ideas? We're 19 and she does have a car.
Thanks! :D
