raulsbabym

well im 3 cm dilated and 75% as checked on monday and my doctor has set my date to be induced for the 11th of june.... the last couple weeks i have had consistent contractions really painful that start from my back and shoot to my lower pelvic region...but today i had a sharp knife type feeling in my vagina that hurt so bad then i felt a bunch of pressure in my anal region.... when i got home i checked my panties and they were damp with clear watery liquid with a sweat type of smell(sorry tmi)maybe it is my water leaking but not sure..... but other than that my dr did tell me i wasnt going to make it to the 11th due to everything going on..... one more thing when i urinate my anal area and vaginal area are really really sore.....
my mucous plug has already been discharging for the last 3-4 weeks....and everytime i stand im hard as a rock

Answer
There would be a little more watery stuff if it was your waters leaking, it would prolly fill a pad. You are very very close now though BTW :P maybe a few days howerver, you only have 1 cm to go :D. Hit the walking path, get with your man /grins, get some rasp tea into you or bounce on a trampoline lol Jk about the last one but GL you will not go till the 11th imo but anytime now. I hated being told 'any time now' lol lol.

Sudden large amount of discharge?

Lola

Ok so as i was jumping on the trampoline the other day, i suddenly felt like a large amount of discharge came out of me, i thought it was the normal amount. Then i felt wet, and when i looked down, i had a wet spot in my jeans, as if a little bit of pee had leaked out of me. I went to the bathroom to check, and it wasnt pee, but it seemed like a gush of water mixed with normal discharge. I never had this before, is it normal?

On a side note, im pretty sure i have yeast infection, it goes away after i get my period, which is the case right now, but i get the cottage cheese like discharge again the rest of the month. Does that have anything to do with what happened to me?

Answer
This should help you decide.

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period
