How long will it take to get rid of sunburn?

I was at my friends house for two nights, three days. We woke up and imediately went outside to play on the trampoline ( black ). And we decided to play in the water while jumping ( like water balloons, sprinkler, and buckets of water ) and my swim suit was black too. We were probably out there jumping for 9 hours straight. I didn't wear sunscreen. The next day we went outside and played on the trampoline with water again and played for like 8 hours straight. Still no sunscreen. I figured since I am indian and have a darker complextion I didn't need any. Now my arms, stomach, chest, and feet aren't burned, but my back is really bad and my knees. I can barely move my arms up and down without it hurting. Sleeping is really hard too. This was Monday and Tuesday. How long will it take to get rid of it? Will it peel? Does peeling hurt?
I am 14 and a girl.

Hello.
The same thing happened to me when i went to a them park at the beginning of the school year. This is what i did. And keep in mind, when you have a sunburn, Aloe is your best friend.
Go get some aloe body wash, and wash yourself at the hotspots with warm/cool water. That helped me with everything.
Apply Aloe gel 3-8 times a day. Just go in the bathroom, and put it on just like lotion, except it will be wet after it is applied.
If you moisturize your skin 1-3 times a day, then dont worry about peeling. If you start peeling, then dont worry. Depending on your skin type, it will itch or not itch. Some people dont even peel.
No matter what kind of skin type you have, UV rays can give you skin cancer. So wear waterproof sunscreen to prevent this from happening, and to prevent you from getting a sunburn.
RIGHT after you get out of the sun, put on Aloe, Even if you arent burnt. Your burn wont show up for like, 1-2 hours after leaving the sun. So, right after you get out of the sun, put on some aloe gel, and then your burn, if any, wont hurt as bad.
I hate sunburns; they SUCK! but just remember, they drop into a nice tan!
